What are cookies and browser storage?
Cookies and browser storage technologies such as localStorage may store small pieces of information on your device when you visit a website. These technologies can be used to remember preferences and let you continue a feature where you left off.
Privacy choices record
We store a strictly necessary localStorage record named 'fotinos-consent:v2' so the website can remember and honour your privacy choice. It contains the consent schema and privacy-policy versions, your analytics choice and the time the choice was updated. It contains no name, email address, phone number or other direct identifier. This record is stored even when you reject analytics, and a material policy-version change causes the site to ask again.
Form entries
The contact form and the project proposal form do not save what you type on your device. Your entries leave your browser only when you submit a form, and no form content is kept in cookies or localStorage.
Language preference
The English version is served at the root URL, Spanish under '/es' and German under '/de'. No persistent cookie or localStorage record is created for language selection.
Analytics and advertising technologies
Cloudflare Web Analytics and Real User Monitoring (RUM) are not enabled. The Google Analytics 4 tag loads on each page with analytics storage denied by default. While analytics storage is denied, Google Analytics does not read or write analytics cookies, but the tag may send limited cookieless consent and measurement signals to Google. If you enable analytics, Google Analytics may set first-party cookies including '_ga' and a property-specific '_ga_<container-id>' cookie to distinguish visits and maintain session state. These cookies normally remain for up to two years unless you withdraw consent, delete them or your browser applies a shorter limit.
Signals sent while analytics storage is denied may include the time, user agent, referrer, consent-state values and a random value generated for the page load. We do not intentionally include names, email addresses, phone numbers, form contents or project descriptions in Google Analytics events.
We use Google Analytics, including aggregate or modelled reports, only to understand website usage and improve the site. Advertising storage, advertising user data, ad personalisation and Google Signals remain disabled in both consent states, and we do not intentionally send form fields or other direct identifiers to Analytics. Rejecting analytics cookies does not limit the website or forms.
Form submissions and third parties
Visiting the contact pages does not send any form data. Only when you choose to submit a form is the information you entered transmitted over HTTPS to the website's own server endpoint, which runs on Cloudflare's infrastructure and emails it to Fotinos's corporate mailbox, info@fotinos.com.tr, run on Google Workspace. No third-party form service is involved. The service providers involved in this process may technically process personal data; further details are provided in our Privacy Policy.
Managing your preferences
Our privacy banner asks only for analytics consent: you can accept or reject analytics-cookie storage and fuller measurement. Use the persistent Privacy settings control in the footer to reopen the banner and withdraw or change your choice at any time. Withdrawing analytics consent changes analytics storage to denied, stops future analytics-cookie storage and fuller measurement, and removes accessible Google Analytics cookies; limited cookieless signals may continue while the Google tag remains loaded. You can also clear fotinos.io data through your browser settings.
Browser settings
Most browsers allow you to view, delete or completely block cookies and localStorage records. Blocking cookies or localStorage does not prevent you from using the contact forms; it only affects whether your privacy choice can be remembered on a future visit.
Changes
We may update this policy when our technologies or applicable laws change. The current version and last-updated date will always appear on this page.
