What are cookies and browser storage?
Cookies and browser storage technologies such as localStorage may store small pieces of information on your device when you visit a website. These technologies can be used to remember preferences and let you continue a feature where you left off.
Privacy choices record
We store a strictly necessary localStorage record named 'fotinos-consent:v2' so the website can remember and honour your privacy choices. It contains the consent schema and privacy-policy versions, separate true-or-false choices for analytics and estimate-draft storage, and the time the choice was updated. It contains no name, email address, phone number or other direct identifier. This record is stored even when you reject all optional technologies, and a material policy-version change causes the site to ask again.
Estimate draft
Only when you enable estimate-draft storage are the selections from your detailed project estimate saved in a localStorage record named 'fotinos-estimate-draft:v1'. The draft contains the selected product, add-ons, capabilities, design option, current step and update time; it does not contain personal form fields such as your name, email address, phone number, company, message or form consent.
The draft remains available for no more than 30 days. Once that period expires, it is deleted when the contact page is opened again; it is also removed after a successful detailed submission, when you start a new request, or when you withdraw estimate-storage permission. If you reject storage, the estimate will continue to work, but your selections will not be saved for a future visit.
Language preference
The English version is served at the root URL, Spanish under '/es' and German under '/de'. No persistent cookie or localStorage record is created for language selection.
Analytics and advertising technologies
Cloudflare Web Analytics and Real User Monitoring (RUM) are not enabled. Google Analytics 4 is loaded only after you enable analytics. It may then set first-party cookies including '_ga' and a property-specific '_ga_<container-id>' cookie to distinguish visits and maintain session state. These cookies normally remain for up to two years unless you withdraw consent, delete them, or your browser applies a shorter limit.
Until you enable analytics, the Google tag is not loaded and no data is sent to Google through Analytics.
We use Google Analytics only to understand aggregated website usage and improve the site. Advertising storage, advertising user data, ad personalisation and Google Signals remain disabled, and we do not intentionally send form fields or other direct identifiers to Analytics. Rejecting analytics does not limit the website or forms.
Form submissions and third parties
Visiting the contact page does not send data to Web3Forms. When you choose to submit the form, the form information is transmitted to Web3Forms over HTTPS and then delivered to Fotinos's email infrastructure. The service providers involved in this process may technically process personal data; further details are provided in our Privacy Policy.
Managing your preferences
You can accept all optional technologies, reject them all, or choose analytics and estimate-draft storage separately. Use the persistent Privacy settings control in the footer to withdraw or change your choices at any time. Withdrawing analytics permission stops future Analytics collection on this site and removes accessible Google Analytics cookies; withdrawing estimate-storage permission deletes the saved estimate draft. You can also clear fotinos.io data through your browser settings.
Browser settings
Most browsers allow you to view, delete or completely block cookies and localStorage records. Blocking optional storage does not prevent you from using the contact form; it only affects whether your preference and draft information can be remembered on a future visit.

We may update this policy when our technologies or applicable laws change. The current version and last-updated date will always appear on this page.
